Hello, I’m Bex and I’m originally from just outside Liverpool. Writing blog posts isn’t my strong point but I’m sure I’ll get better at it as time goes on. Hobbies I have are, I like to sing and play instruments, I’ve also joined a pool society here at uni? I dig TV shows like Game of Thrones, Rick and Morty, The Walking Dead and all that Jazz.

I’ve been doing photography academically since GCSE level and throughout that time I managed to fall in love with it and carried it on to A level and then degree level. I’ve done work with a newborn photographer first as work experience in year 10 but then she invited me back to the studio for 2 summers for paid work. Within that year after she trusted me to photograph her wedding reception; so as well as being academically involved in photography I have also been out in the world dealing with customers and photographing to suit their needs. I also won a local competition in Southport which was fun.

After finishing this course I hope to travel to America and try to land myself an internship with a TV company or film studio where eventually I could become a director of photography. To be a director of Photography on a Disney movie is the ultimate dream. And I’m hoping this course will allow me to progress and develop as a practitioner and give me the skills to be able to eventually reach my dream job.
